Social Meania™ was created to bring awareness to educators, parents, students and families affected by the epidemic of social media bullying and social shaming. Everyday children go to school and face bullying and potential ridicule, but what happens when it follows them home? In our current society, the bullying doesn’t end when children get home, it lives on their social devices.
Again Social media has taken over numerous aspects of our lives, especially the lives of students and children. Our goal is to provide helpful tools for teachers, administrators, parents and families to utilize, to help the younger generation through their developmental years while being immersed in the online world.
We must also never forget the negative aspects Social Shaming and Social Bullying has had on our senior population. Our loved ones are continuously being harassed and prayed upon. Their lives have never been involved in the “computer” world as it is today and we must do all we can do to protect them and provide their families with Resources and tools to inform, educate and prevent any unwanted Social Bullying, Social Shaming, or any other social media related scams.
By having an online Resource directory available to help in ending social bullying, social shaming and elderly scams, we can find new ways to educate, inform and prevent this from happening.
